The Finance Manager in our Dubai Office will be responsible for overseeing financial management, reporting, tax compliance, and financial strategy for Quill Dubai/ Abu Dhabi/ KSA/ Lebanon. This role requires an experienced finance professional with strong leadership skills, capable of managing a finance team, optimizing financial processes, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee Quill Dubai’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and present financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Develop financial strategies to support business growth, cost optimization, and profitability.
  • Monitor and control cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with auditing and regulatory standards.

Tax Compliance & Regulatory Management:

  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Oversee ZATCA and cross-border (GCC) financial compliance where applicable.

Financial Planning & Strategy:

  • Analyze financial data to provide insights, trends, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and risk management strategies.
  • Support business expansion, mergers, and acquisitions, including due diligence and financial structuring.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring efficiency and performance excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP system enhancements to optimize financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 4 years in a managerial role in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT compliance, and corporate tax laws.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and risk assessment.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
